Internet Insurance Marketing Strategies

The internet has changed Agents' Insurance Marketing Strategies.
Whether you like it or not, the internet is changing the way insurance agents are running their business and getting new business. Well, not only getting new business, but running their business with a customer base.
Here Are My Top Internet Insurance Marketing Strategies:
1. Special Website: If you get on Google and enter your keyword, you will notice the main Google Local listings (the ones with the red exclamation marks), and open those sites, you will notice a few things. Those sites have nothing to capture the interested lead. they may have information on the company or show the products and even have a place to get a quote. This is alright if you want to just have your agency name in lights. Now what if you could have a site that had an Opt-in form that would give the prospect something for free in return for their name and email. Make a special website that is not only useful for information, but use it as a tool to do quotes, and most importantly get searchers names and emails, through Opt-In Forms.

2. Facebook Business: This is one of my newest favorites for Insurance Marketing Strategies. I used to be one of the guys that just could not figure out why people would spend hours every day, reading what other people are doing and posting what they had for lunch. Actually, I still can't understand why people spend they time doing that, but they do and as of January 2011, there are over 600 million people that do it. So I decided to investigate this social media network and set up my own account. I was doing posting about insurance coverages and insurance strategies, but this was not really doing anything. I did start figuring out what Facebook was all about. What if you could start inviting your current customers to join you page as friends and send out a 1-2 post a day. Then what after 2 weeks, you had 100 new referred friends based off the initial 10 customer friends you started off with. This can happen with you doing absolutely nothing but posting a few great post every week, because when your '"friends" make a reply comment to your post, all their friends see it. This is when the Viral Referral system starts.
The Secret for Facebook, and your insurance marketing strategies is to learn, understand and implement a Facebook Business pages onto you account. These pages are actually sales landing pages, to entice people with special offers and information pages. Then you can actually do ads on Facebook, to get hundreds of new leads to your Facebook account every week also.
This is exploding in growth very quickly, so get on it sooner than later.
